By observing nature closely, reflecting and applying a nature-based twist to tried-and-true wellness practices, we build a flexible toolkit for feeling better - and staying better. 

My name is Dina, and I'm grateful to be a wellness guide. It's my passion to guide people along their journey toward well-being. I'm certified as a holistic health practitioner, meditation instructor, breathwork practitioner and neuroscience coach. Professionally, my focus is on the intersection of nature, wellness, neuroscience and eco-consciousness - a beautiful crossroads with limitless potential! 

I'm also a botanical photographer and artist, regularly immersed in nature for my art. I call the wisdom I've gained over thirty-plus years of personal practice "Whispering Wilds" because it draws on aspects of nature that are often overlooked, unseen or unappreciated - the "whispers" of the wild. These whispers teach us ways to thrive. 

Whispering Wilds is a unique method of biomimicry for personal wellness that forms the foundation of all classes, resources and community activities I create and facilitate.

In nature, extraordinary lessons are waiting to be found in even the most ordinary places. 

More About Whispering Wilds
The Whispering Wilds method is a nature-inspired wellness practice that began 30 years ago as a personal response to childhood trauma. My instinct was to escape to the wild as often as possible, where I found peace by deeply examining the world around me. In my early 20s, as I faced profound grief and PTSD, I turned to botanical photography, focusing on the patterns and textures in nature. This process helped me heal, complementing modern medicine and therapy by drawing from the living systems and structures of the natural world.

The more I studied nature through my lens, the more I discovered about myself. At the heart of Whispering Wilds is the belief that we can find true self-understanding, balance and resilience by being present with and part of nature. The core of this method is the O.R.A. process - Observe, Reflect, Apply - which helps you discover nature’s overlooked lessons and turn them into practical tools for improving your mind/body/spirit wellness, relationships, self-care and more. 

Mimicking Nature for Wellness

This method is a form of biomimicry adapted for personal wellness. By imitating nature's form, function, processes and living systems in a way that's unique to you, Whispering Wilds inspires healthier thought patterns, behaviors and beliefs.

Ways to Learn
The Whispering Wilds method is built upon a unique foundation of growth through observing and drawing inspiration from the natural world. Whispering Wilds classes teach you this foundation and expand it with proven practices like breathwork, somatic movement, guided meditation, journaling, mindful walking, visualization, creativity, play and more - all with a special Whispering Wilds twist for thoughtful biomimicry.

I know life is busy. That's why the Whispering Wilds classes, which are "micro-courses," are quick and easy to learn. I break information into bite-sized chunks that you can incorporate as practical wisdom. With the classes here, you're learning how to build a toolkit you can adjust over time to improve your whole-person wellness.

How Classes Work

Once you purchase a class, you'll have access to the vault for that class. In the vault, you'll find all the lessons and supporting resources you need. You can learn at your own pace without an expiration date or deadline. There are no quizzes or exams unless otherwise stated in the class description before you buy. Classes accessibly combine text, videos, audio and photos, catering to as many learning styles as possible.

Mindset Matters

The goals of the Whispering Wilds method can only be achieved by learning without stress or anxiety, unfair pressure or guilt. Everything about the experience should feel comforting and fulfilling - like a cozy blanket of knowledge wrapped around you. I want you to come away from each class feeling fiercely inspired. So, work through the lessons at a pace you're comfortable with. 

Nature Nurtures You Anywhere

Don't worry if you live in a place with limited exposure to nature - together, we will find what you need. Anyone anywhere can practice personal biomimicry, whether they live in the middle of a forest or along a craggy shore, rolling plains or vast desert, a well-manicured suburb or an urban cityscape. With a bit of creativity, you'll make the most of the wild wherever you may be.

Additional Resources

Additional resources that support the Whispering Wilds method are added frequently. Some are sold standalone, while regular updates, new content, live events, discussions and more are available within the Whispering Wilds community hub, the Wildling Circle. You can subscribe to join your fellow wildlings for a low monthly fee.
Guidance Sessions
Guidance Sessions offer a unique opportunity to explore the Whispering Wilds method directly with Dina, its creator. Whether you prefer 1:1 mentoring, small group gatherings, or a custom experience for your business leadership or teams, these sessions are deeply personalized. They are designed to guide you toward mind, body and spirit wellness and resilience through nature’s wisdom. 🌿Guidance Sessions are a path to empowerment.

What to Expect in Guidance Sessions

Together, we’ll delve into the entire Whispering Wilds framework of personal biomimicry and ecotherapy, as well as proven practices like meditation, breathwork, journaling, art, play and more. Each session is tailored to your unique journey, helping you create a toolkit of actionable, nature-inspired activities that put you in control of your well-being. You can practice the method between sessions, and we'll adjust tactics or explore new ideas whenever it's helpful. 

Guidance Sessions are more personal and in-depth than the self-paced online classes or the community hub. Sessions are held on Zoom, with or without a camera, for your comfort. They last one hour.

Group Guidance Sessions

For groups, Guidance Sessions offer a safe space to connect with others, share experiences, and learn new perspectives while mastering the Whispering Wilds technique. You’ll gain the same personalized approach while building a sense of community on your wellness journey.

Business Guidance Sessions

For business leaders and teams, Guidance Sessions take wellness and resilience to the organizational level. Leaders will learn how to apply nature’s form, function, and systems to business strategy and relationships with employees and customers. Employees will benefit from a sense of purpose and connection through nature. Leaders and employees alike will also learn how to approach their own holistic wellness the Whispering Wilds way.

More About Dina
I'm a wellness guide whose journey into alternative health and spirituality began at age 15, working in a metaphysical bookstore. With a BA in psychology and certifications as a holistic health practitioner, neuroscience coach, meditation instructor, breathwork practitioner and Usui Reiki Master/Teacher, I draw from a wealth of knowledge accredited by organizations like International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), Complementary Medical Association (CMA), National Certification Council For Activity Professionals (NCCAP) and the Centre of CPD Excellence (CPD). 

I have blended science and traditional wisdom to create the well-rounded Whispering Wilds method. As a botanical photographer, artist and musician, my deep connection to nature inspires both my art and wellness practices. View my speaker sheet for fast facts about me.

A perpetual student, I'm currently studying naturopathy, Old Norse and Swedish languages, MANA movement, the Wim Hof Method, neuroplasticity and somatic therapies. I regularly attend summits and conferences where I find new techniques to explore personally and for my fellow wildlings. I belong to the Association of Spiritual Integrity, and I always welcome ways to network with and learn from other professionals to improve my understanding of the wild world, alternative health practices, biomimicry, ecotherapy, neuroscience, embodied living and wellness. I also support nature conservation and preservation efforts by donating a portion of Whispering Wilds sales to environmental cleanup.

I grow a medicinal garden, belong to a family of crows who treat me as their own, relentlessly pursue hygge and am driven by my life's purpose: helping nature and people. I'm a proud mom to a kind-hearted son who shares my love of the wild world, as does my endlessly supportive partner. The abundant blessings in my life have been made possible - and more deeply appreciated - by listening to the whispers of the wild. 🌿✨
